I am a bit late getting this up, honestly I had thought that I did it earlier in the week but it must not have taken. Oh well. Thursday was a very productive night for us, conclave bit the dust... and we made excellent progress on Chimeron. We managed to get him to sub 10%, but a bad last feud caused us to lose too many people. We'll be sure to get him soon. In the mean time, ENJOY THE SCREENSHOT!

Aside from getting the slime vents working again, we accomplished tonight what has taken us both of our raiding days up to this point -- 6 Bosses down (First two in Bastion, First two and Maloriak in BWD, and Argaloth) in a single night of raiding. We'll be moving on to the Conclave on Thursday, and hopefully there will be a new screenshot on the front page!

Thursdays haven't been the best nights for us. We've had a few people have obligations pop up, and while we've raided, it's been a bit difficult to field a solid 25. Tonight was one of the best nights I've had raiding in awhile. I was surprised and utterly pleased by the performance of a few people tonight which I didn't expect to see. We went in with offspec tanks due to last-minute problems, and a cadre of healers, one fresh... and came out with a new boss kill!

With Maloriak down, and our strategy down pat, I suspect that we'll be flying through this content on Tuesday, and be able to really devote time to further progression on Thursdays! Stay tuned for moar!

Progress both for bosses and speed

Tonight was a very good raiding night for us. We decided to 180 and make our way into Bastion of Twilight to take our shot at Halfus and the Dragon Twins. Our first attempt on Halfus was a bit poor; shadow novas ate us. We made a slight adjustment and things were going well until a tank inexplicably died. Third attempt brought success, with very few raid deaths, and one dead Halfus.

We moved onto the Dragons, which took a bit more work. We had a few attempts where silly things killed us (Blackout cleanses, void zones), but we quickly worked it out and managed to get them down after only a handful of attempts.

We took a short break, then zipped over to BWD to ice Magmaw, which was done on our first attempt in a very clean manner... best kill yet. And, of course, paid our good friend in Baradin Hold a visit. The nice thing about the evening is even with all of that, we only DE'd a single piece of gear -- a piece of plate healing gear which everyone has seen drop a few times already, and most of our paladins have either for MS or OS.

All in all, it was a very productive evening and shows our good advancement both in terms of bosses killed and speed with which we are downing them.

Also, for those of you interested in joining, we give out free food!

Chimaeron! While we didn't kill him, we got to him extremely quickly (blasting through both Magmaw and Omni) and were able to put a couple attempts in on him. Really interesting fight mechanically, just need to get some work in on him and I'm sure we'll get him down. We probably would have made a lot of progress tonight, but we managed to keep TB away from the Horde, so we side-tracked to Baradin Hold to finish out our night. We've mostly seen PvP gear, which is awesome for those in our guild who enjoy it, but managed to snag tier pieces for a boomkin (Damn you Edud!) and Hunturrrrrrrrrrd. More updates coming on Thursday, hopefully alongside a Chimaeron kill!

Two nights, two bosses down. Magmaw took us a bit of work on day 1, but we managed to down him toward the end of the night and get some attempts in on Omnitron. Getting back into the spirit of raiding was something that a lot of us were looking forward to, and we went into both days with a solid 25 people ready to rock. The Magmaw kill was quite exciting, since it was our first foray back into the mainstream 25M raiding scene. While we're no Paragon, we had a ton of fun, made consistent progress, and enjoyed every moment of it.

Tonight we managed to down Omnitron, using our Tremor patented strategy of 'last attempt'. The fight was quite interesting, and took a bit of getting used to. Mechanically, we had it down when we managed to bring the bosses to 14% before a wipe... unfortunately a few silly mistakes pushed our progression back from that point. We took a break, came back to it, and worked at it, adjusting our strat slightly to make up for a few shortcomings. Our kill was spectacular, with all of our healers OOM (We'd been losing DPS slowly over the fight), and only six people standing when the bosses finally well... Typical us! Of course, we still had an absolute great time doing it.

Looking forward to posting more updates, and you'll see new pictures as we down more content in both 10 and 25 man!

Also, Juan is too cool to look at the camera. He's Insane in the Membrane yo!

Tremor -- Back in Style

Our first night of raiding was a very rewarding experience for our guild. Not only did we get back into the spirit of raiding in style, but we brought down a boss on our first night after having not raided in 25M for quite some time. New faces, old faces, all wanting to jump into content for the first time; and we came together as a team in a smashing way! Each attempt brought new progress, and once we got the basic mechanics of the fight down, a few adjustments brought us the first kill of the new year; and our first 25M raid boss kill, Magmaw down!

We're a little slow on updating our front page news, but we're definitely NOT slow in getting ready for raiding! A fair chunk of us are 85, and have begun gearing ourselves out as fast as we can. Who knows...we might end up raiding before the end of next month... ;)

New Front Page Screenshot will be posted a bit later in the week, once we have something worth posting. :)
