Yay! We finally got Nefarian down, which means we're 12/12 PRE-NERF! Good job everyone! And that also means we got a Dark Phoenix Mount for the guild and a fancy title for those at the Nef kill!

Cho'gall DOWN!

25 Man Cho'Gall, a hellish fight with a ton of movement, avoiding shadow crashes, fires, and more interrupts than a pair of 2500 arena combatants can put on a healer... after a few weeks of attempts, failing to get to Phase 2, we went in tonight with a few new faces and a solid composition. On our first attempt, we pushed him into phase 2 and got him to 8%... hell of an improvement from not even being able to push 35. Our second attempt brought him to 2%, an unfortunate swap of position cost us the little bit of time we needed. However, on just our third attempt, even with an error going into the phase which caused tentacles to spawn all around us... wellll...

Cho'gall down! We've now joined less than two dozen guilds on our server who have downed him in 25 man, and it's almost guaranteed that we raid the least out of all of them. Once again, Tremor brings the pain! Our next target: Nefarian. Only he and Al'Akir have escaped our grasp so far... onwards to Nef and Halfus Hard Mode!

Ascendant Council Down!

25 Man Ascendant Council, much like Conclave, gave us quite a bit of trouble. After working on them for a few raid nights, an adjustment in our strategy gave us the push to down them with just about a perfect kill -- only two deaths by the end of the fight, and they were within the last 10 seconds of the kill. Excellent work by everyone! This puts us at all three tier bosses in 25M, and we've got our sights set on Cho'Gall next, having gotten him to 45% tonight. Our strat seems solid, we just need a bit better execution to not slide down the path of corruption!

It's been a short while since I've posted anything new. We've had a bit of a reorganization going on, and ran into a few road blocks in our progression. However, tonight we took a large step forward with downing Atramedes!

We're looking forward to either killing the council (To put us at the 'end bosses' of each instance), or Nefarian, completing BWD and allowing us to do hard modes!

With the new members that we've taken on to swell our ranks, we're all looking forward to bigger and better things. Stay tuned for more!

Chimaeron Down

Tuesday went very well for us, we switched things up; 'rushing' for Chimaeron to try to get attempts in on him. After some adjustments, and getting mechanics down pat... we managed to turn him into mush! We had a few clutch moments during the kill, the most-clutch was a mid-battle soulstone on a tank... who would have known it'd actually be useful? We're now setting our eyes on the blind bat, should be fun!

I am a bit late getting this up, honestly I had thought that I did it earlier in the week but it must not have taken. Oh well. Thursday was a very productive night for us, conclave bit the dust... and we made excellent progress on Chimeron. We managed to get him to sub 10%, but a bad last feud caused us to lose too many people. We'll be sure to get him soon. In the mean time, ENJOY THE SCREENSHOT!

Aside from getting the slime vents working again, we accomplished tonight what has taken us both of our raiding days up to this point -- 6 Bosses down (First two in Bastion, First two and Maloriak in BWD, and Argaloth) in a single night of raiding. We'll be moving on to the Conclave on Thursday, and hopefully there will be a new screenshot on the front page!

Thursdays haven't been the best nights for us. We've had a few people have obligations pop up, and while we've raided, it's been a bit difficult to field a solid 25. Tonight was one of the best nights I've had raiding in awhile. I was surprised and utterly pleased by the performance of a few people tonight which I didn't expect to see. We went in with offspec tanks due to last-minute problems, and a cadre of healers, one fresh... and came out with a new boss kill!

With Maloriak down, and our strategy down pat, I suspect that we'll be flying through this content on Tuesday, and be able to really devote time to further progression on Thursdays! Stay tuned for moar!

Progress both for bosses and speed

Tonight was a very good raiding night for us. We decided to 180 and make our way into Bastion of Twilight to take our shot at Halfus and the Dragon Twins. Our first attempt on Halfus was a bit poor; shadow novas ate us. We made a slight adjustment and things were going well until a tank inexplicably died. Third attempt brought success, with very few raid deaths, and one dead Halfus.

We moved onto the Dragons, which took a bit more work. We had a few attempts where silly things killed us (Blackout cleanses, void zones), but we quickly worked it out and managed to get them down after only a handful of attempts.

We took a short break, then zipped over to BWD to ice Magmaw, which was done on our first attempt in a very clean manner... best kill yet. And, of course, paid our good friend in Baradin Hold a visit. The nice thing about the evening is even with all of that, we only DE'd a single piece of gear -- a piece of plate healing gear which everyone has seen drop a few times already, and most of our paladins have either for MS or OS.

All in all, it was a very productive evening and shows our good advancement both in terms of bosses killed and speed with which we are downing them.

Also, for those of you interested in joining, we give out free food!
