In a brutal 24-attempt night we came out victorious. Granted some of those attempts were "ah fuck it, take off your shit we touched too many clouds". Nice job team!

That number might not mean much to most people, certainly not most people who look at this post and go 'wtf?'; but it means quite a bit to Tremor tonight.

Not only signifying the number of drakes that Sarth was left with in 10 man OS, it signifies the number of attempts that it took a group of Tremorites to down him.

Now I've personally been in more pug groups who have attempted this than I'd like to admit, and each time it's been a failure due to poor execution. Sure, you can have the DPS, the tank, and the healer, but if you can't take the half second to strafe out of a void zone; you're about as useful as a stick. Aside from our first attempt, not a single person died to a void zone, and in NO attempt was anyone hit by a firewall; that's something to be proud of.

Another thing to be proud of is that Sarth went down with over eight seconds left before the second drake dropped, making him immune to damage and pretty much making it a failed attempt. Eight seconds of grace time in a fight which takes no more than 80ish is HUGE, and kudos go out to those who made it happen. Accomplishing this in such a way will allow us to roll back in here with various groups, maybe switch things up a bit, and get some new tremorites their achievement, title, and Drake (Yes, he still drops a drake... New Rule: People with Flight Form don't get it ::Shakes fist at Niddy :P).

Most of all, I see this as a huge accomplishment for the guild as a whole, downing something that not very many people have been able to do, and fewer still with the precision and skill that Tremor is able to bring to the table. I'm really looking forward to seeing this guy get downed week after week...

Only 1 normal-mode boss left to clear in the 10man! Now I wasn't there, so I can't speak for this epic first kill, but I can steal text from our forum:

Cower: He dropped to 25% in one of our earliest attempts and then we got a bit sloppy. Shortly after we got our mana management down, though it still needs some improvements.

We got Vezax to about 5% and Esme was OOM, I had 2 heals left in me and Danten was running up to aid in healing. I popped one of my last 2 heals to top Blackbolt off as Tiernan yelled over vent "Blow your cooldowns, this is it!"

Moments later the nerd mating call was all that could be heard over vent.
General Vezax is dead. Tremor reigns victorious once again.
